Hillside Discipleship ChurchLead Pastor
Todd Petty returned to his home town of Lapeer in Sept. 09 after pastoring a church in Slidell Lousiana where he focused on rebuilding after Hurricane Katrina. While in Louisiana he partnered with the International Disaster Emergency Services (IDES) to do follow up ministry as they built 36 homes. He also serves as the Chairman of the Board for the Gulf South Leadership Institute, an organization that trains local leaders for ministry in the Greater New Orleans area. In Lapeer he uses the lessons learned about discipleship, service and outreach to see the life changing power of the Gospel. He grew up here in Lapeer and attended Great Lakes Christian College in Lansing. Todd is married to his beautiful wife Kandi, and they have 3 children.
Youth Pastor
Pastor Michael has been leading our youth ministry for over 5 years. His passion for mentoring young people and helping them discover their God-given purpose has transformed our youth program.
Worship & Community Outreach
Pastor Rebecca leads our worship ministry and community outreach programs. Her background in music education and her heart for service has helped create meaningful worship experiences and impactful community initiatives.

We care for each other and those we want to reach with the Gospel.
Recently we discussed reaching people by small events. This means each person should be praying for who is our +1? Who can we connect with to share the Gospel. From there we want to build authentic relationships by loving our neighbor.
At the same time we want to offer three events for opportunities to hear and respond to the Gospel:

A church that has formed out of the relief efforts in Beaverton, Edenville, and Sanford areas.
We meet Every Sunday night at 6 for worship, a message, and fellowship meal. We are currently meeting in a home at 5824 Bruce in Beaverton, just behind Strykers Marina.
We are a non denominational Bible teaching Church that focuses on Discipleship- Loving Christ, Learning His ways and Living on Mission.
We are actively involved in helping this community rebuild not just their homes but their lives. We would love to come alongside of you on this journey in whatever way would best serve your needs.
